Southern Staff (Nan Gun)

Southern Staff (Nan Gun) is one of the 'long' weapon routines in wushu. The Nan Gun routine and the southern broadsword (Nan Dao), only been added to the wushu competition a few years ago. It has more hitting in contrast to the cutting and swinging techniques of the northern staff (Gun Shu) routines. Martialartsmart has hand picked its Nan Gun for its high quality. The diameter at the top is approx. 1" - 1.25” and 1.25" - 1.5” at the bottom. Note that these weapons are all handmade and subject to slight variations in measurements.
